Access to Library Resources


Library resources are basically sources of information. Traditionally, these resources were mostly books, journals, newspapers and other editorials, and encyclopedias etc. are classifiable under 'Library Resources'. Information sources can generally or broadly be categorized into two: the documentary and non-documentary sources. Inaya libraries are open to the college community. They may use library computers to access most online or electronic resources.

Onsite Library Resources

The Library is dedicated to ensure free and open access to information in all formats for all members of IMC community. The IMC Libraries collections are available to all individuals for use on site. Members of the Inaya Community are welcome to use the Library's collections on site during regular library hours. You can locate materials in the collection by consulting the Library's on-line catalog, KOHA. Staff at the Circulation / Information Desk can also help locate materials.

To find out what materials are in the library? The Library's catalog provides location and call number information for books, recent publications, and CD-ROM products. To access the library catalogue, you can go through by typing URL address -library.inaya.edu.sa in google address bar or other web browser address bar to access the library catalogue or through the college web site: www.inaya.edu.sa

On-Campus access to Library Resources

IMC Libraries offer online and electronic resources, accessible from any computer connected to the Internet including:

  • Library Catalog
  • Databases

Access to Library Catalog while On Campus:
To access the library catalogue, you can go through by typing URL address -library.inaya.edu.sa in google address bar or other web browser address bar to access the library catalogue or through the college web site: www.inaya.edu.sa

Access to Databases while On-Campus:
Access to the databases may be obtained from any computers within the campus and is freely available to anyone round the clock. No password /Username are required. This will give you an opportunity to access large number of journals, books and other information resources in your field of interest.

It can be accessed through the Internet via the Web at http://library.inaya.edu.sa This will take you to the library home page. Here you will get the databases list on the left side and then click any one of your interest and the database page will appear on your computer screen. Here you have the opportunity to download, print or save the file as per your requirement.

Off-Campus access to Library Resources

Access to Library Catalog while Off Campus:
The Library has off-Campus access facility of our online catalogue. It can be accessed through the Internet via the Web at http://library.inaya.edu.sa. Or through college website www.inaya.edu.sa. Anyone may freely access our library catalogue from any computer with an Internet connection. Library Users will be able to search by title, author, keyword, subject or call number.

Connect to our Databases from Off-Campus:
Inaya college Library maintains a subscription to online database with thousands of substantive abstracts and full text articles. Library's electronic resources are available to registered students, faculty, and staff when away from campus. Inaya student, faculty, or staff can access our Databases from off-campus (Remote Access). If you want to connect and access our following databases from outside of the Inaya campus network, you must log in through the library web page http://library.inaya.edu.sa or college website i.e. www.inaya.edu.sa
